MY LIST OF 5 EXCURSIONS TO DO FROM SEVILLE
1. WHITE VILLAGES OF CADIZ ( COAST ).

The beautiful region of the white villages of Cadiz is divided in two areas, the Coast and the Mountain range. Mountain Range i recommend in another excursion to do with Ronda. Both are really beautiful so i recommend both.
The three villages i recommend are, TARIFA and the views of Africa , VEJER DE LA FRONTERA, and CONIL DE LA FRONTERA . If you are not very tired in the comming back to Sevilla you can visit Also ARCOS DE LA FRONTERA .
What i suggest is to go early in the morning to TARIFA explore the village and enjoy the views of Africa from Tarifa.
For the views you should look in Google: Mirador del Estrecho , its an scenic overlook over the strait of Gibraltar. This is located a few kms from Tarifa. You have another mirador called Mirador de Africa that is located in Tarifa Town.

After Tarifa you can drive to the beautiful beach of BOLONIA with ROMAN RUINS ( old roman city Baelo Claudia ) at the feet of the beach...its one of the most beautiful beaches in Cadiz.

Then you can drive VEJER DE LA FRONTERA a really charming and beautiful village in a climb just 8 kms from the seaside; in the clear days you can see Africa from Vejer; enjoy walking on this village . Then you can drive in the afternoon to CONIL DE LA FRONTERA and lunch there, i recommend to have a walk in the center of Conil and then for lunch you can go , Restaurante el Mirador del Roqueo , www.elroqueo.com ; Also if you have time you can drive 20 minutes to the nice beach of Caños de Meca and eat there in Restaurante hotel Breña , www.hotelbrena.com , maybe another option this more popular and a bit less expensive and with a nice terrace in front of the sea is Restaurante el Caña , you can find on facebook.
Another great option if you like to enjoy the really nice meat of retina cow you should go to Asador el Antojo in front of the Faro de Trafalgar ( where the famous battle was ) , https://www.tripadvisor.es/Restaurant_Review-g2693930-d4699128-Reviews-Asador_El_Antojo-Zahora_Barbate_Costa_de_la_Luz_Andalucia.html. ( ONLY OPENED FROM APRIL TO OCTOBER )
Finally in the comming back you can stop and visit the beautiful Arcos de la Frontera and enjoy a coffee. If you preffer to stay all day in the seaside i highly recommend you to go to Sajorami Beach a lounge bar and hotel where play concerts at the sunset. www.sajoramibeach.com.
Another beautiful thing you can do if you like to do some sport not heavy is to make hiking walking through the cliffs of La Breña- Barbate. This way connect natural park of la Breña where Los Caños de Meca is with Barbate. Its really beautiful. To find the starting of the walk you can go to the bar La pequeña Lulú, https://www.facebook.com/lapequenalulubistrodelmar/ , on there 100 meters from starts the way. Also there is the nudist beach of Caños de Meca.

Doñana National Park is part of the National Parks Network
and with over 54,000 hectares, it represents the most important
wetland area in Europe, being considered a World Heritage Site and
Biosphere Reserve by Unesco.
Doñana is the result of the constant
filling of the old estuary of the Guadalquivir river. This territory is
characterized by the richness and diversity of species and ecosystems
that it contains, and for being the passage and wintering area for a
large number of species of European and African birds.
Doñana has three main ecosystems: the
beach and mobile sand dunes, the Cotos or bushes with stabilized soil
and the Marshes. Each ecosystem of the park has well defined ecological
and biological characteristics.
The Guadalquivir River is an essential
part of this Natural Area. Its waters sustain life in Doñana and create
this unique ecosystem that is the marsh, which gives shelter to
thousands of water birds in Europe.
Access into Doñana National Park is
restricted due to the sensitivity of some of its ecosystems, so it is
managed by concessionaires. Our company has had this award since 1993,
carrying out visits into the park from the province of Cádiz.
The Visitors` Center “Fábrica de Hielo”(Ice
Factory), from where the visits in Sanlucar de Barrameda start, has two
exhibition areas; One of them which holds information about Doñana and
the other which explains the evolution of man in this geographical area.
Also, the center offers visitors a vision of the importance of the city
in the discovery of America and the first circumnavigation of the
world.
What i highly reccomend is to BOOK IN ADVANCE at least 1 or 2 days before....better 2 days before, by phone or by email, you can see details of the phone number and email in www.visitasdonana.com . The tour starts in Bajo de Guia in Sanlucar de Barrameda. In the visitors center of Fabrica de Hielo they will give you the tickets and inform you about the place of departure. Total journey is about 2.30 hours.
In the coming back i really recommend you to enjoy a great gastronomy bulevar called Bajo de Guia where you can find a very good restaurante specialist in fish and seafood.

3. SIERRA DE HUELVA ( Small mountains of Huelva ) ( Route of Ibérico Ham). With hiking route. Visiting Aracena, Alajar, Jabugo and Cortegana.

This route i highly recommend more to to in Autumm Winter or Spring time. They are the seasons when the countryside is more beautiful. On this route you can visit nice white villages of the Sierra de Huelva. All villages lives mainly from tourism and from the Iberico Ham. You can enjoy very nice landscapes where the black iberico pork lives. In the village of Jabugo and also in the other villages you can find some shops to buy Iberico pork products.
What i recommend you is to drive to CORTEGANA that is the most far village from Sevilla. ( here you can walk the village and go to the castle with nice views ) ..then you can come back to JABUGO and buy some Iberico ham and then go to ALAJAR and visit also the CLIMB OF ARIAS MONTANO ( Arias Montano was an philosofer and advisor of the King Felipe the second that came to this climb to chill...) ; you have very nice views from the climb. On clear days you can see the ocean.
Then you can drive to the beautiful town of ARACENA where you can visit the MARAVILLA CAVES, GRUTA DE LAS MARAVILLAS ,prehistoric caves and then you can lunch or dinner in Restaurant CASA VICENTE ( VERY GOOD RESTAURANT with great iBERICO HAM, MEATS AND HOME MADE DISHES ). Another very good option more nearby to Sevilla also in Sierra the Huelva is to Stop in RESTAURANTE LA COLMENA, in Higuera de la Sierra, very good prices and great food.
